Degrees, Training and Certificates: Began his 20-year career as a physical therapist assistant in the U.S. Army. B.S. in Physical Therapy, Howard University, Washington, D.C; D.P.T. in Physical Therapy, A. T. Still University, Mesa, Arizona; Continuing Education (Manual Therapy), Ola Grimsby Institute, San Diego, California. Licensed Physical Therapist: State of Maryland and District of Columbia.
Has served as a physical therapist assistant for military installations during his military service and as the director of rehabilitation for the Yater Medical Group which consisted of three offices. Also performed in-house physical therapy services for local hospitals such as Holy Cross Hospital, Greater Southeast Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the Washington Adventist Hospital.
